Nebraska AIDS Education and Training

Conducted in collaboration with the University of Nebraska Medical Center, this program is focused on providing support, resources and training to health care and social service providers. Customized workshops and presentations are available at no charge to providers, educators, administrators, etc.


HIV 101 Basic Training
HIV 101 is a free training that is available to people who are interested in becoming a Nebraska AIDS Project volunteer or anyone interested in learning the facts about HIV disease. Topics covered include: the history of HIV disease in the United States; , current trends and statistics; STDs; and basic HIV prevention and AIDS information. An exploration of NAP volunteer opportunities rounds out the discussion.
