Founded in 1984 as a compassionate response to the AIDS crisis, Nebraska AIDS Project (NAP) cares for people impacted by HIV and AIDS, while promoting sexual health for all through education, access, and advocacy. NAP provides HIV and sexual health services to the entire state of Nebraska, 11 counties in Southwest Iowa, and two counties in Eastern Wyoming.
Mission
Nebraska AIDS Project (NAP) cares for people impacted by HIV and AIDS, while promoting sexual health for all through education, access, and advocacy.
Vision
Our community will have the power to lead a thriving and pleasurable life, and all people will have access to effective and compassionate physical, emotional, and sexual healthcare.
Values
Authentic – We cultivate spaces for people to show up as themselves. We respect and defend the right of all people to make their own decisions.
Courageous – We explore the unexplored, responding boldly and curiously despite fear.
Accountable – We claim responsibility for our past, present, and future actions and inactions. We listen, we learn, and we adapt; because if one person is not healthy, none of us are.
